Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1880. This beautiful late-Victorian era ring features a gorgeous 1.01-carat bead-set oval mixed-cut natural sapphire. The sapphire is haloed with 18 old mine-cut natural diamonds prong-set in 18KT gold. The diamonds weigh .81 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color.
Appraised Value: $5,500
The ring measures 11.3mm at the top, rises 3.3mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
