Victorian Ruby & Diamond Ring
Dated 1896; Birmingham, England. This beautiful 18KT Victorian ring features three oval mixed-cut natural rubies, haloed by eight prong-set, single-cut natural diamonds. The rubies weigh .39 carats in total. The halo diamonds weigh .20 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color. The ring is approximately a size 6.25.
Appraised Value: $3,100
The ring measures 9.3mm at the top, rises 3.4mm above the finger, tapering to 2.6mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank. The inside shank is stamped with Birmingham, England hallmarks.
