Circa 1890. This amazing Victorian ring features an absolutely lovely 5.07-carat cushion mixed-cut natural sapphire (no heat treatment) bezel set in 18KT gold. The sapphire is haloed with 16 old European-cut diamonds bead set in platinum. Each shoulder of the ring is further accented with six old European/single-cut diamonds also bead set in platinum. The accent diamonds weigh 1.08 carats in total, with VS2-I1 clarity and G-I color. The ring is approximately a size 6.5.

The ring measures 17.2mm at the top,rises 7.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.0mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 6.5.
