Circa 1950. This striking midcentury ring features a stunning 23.80-carat oval cabochon-cut natural moonstone set into a six-prong 18KT yellow gold setting. Moonstones are known for their vibrant adularescence, which occurs when light shines through the stone and reflects a bluish or whitish tint.

The ring measures 21.2mm at the top, rises 11.3mm above the finger, tapering to 3.3mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the base of the shank.
