Victorian Chrysoberyl & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1900. This awesome Victorian 18KT gold halo ring features a central 2.02-carat, prong-set, oval cabochon-cut natural cat's eye chrysoberyl that is bordered with 12 prong-set, old European/mine-cut diamonds. The halo diamonds weigh 1.20 carats in total, with VS2-SI1 clarity and G-H color. The ring is approximately a size 7.
Appraised Value: $9,800
The ring measures 18.5mm at the top, rises 7.8mm above the finger, tapering to 3.9mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 7.
