Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco ring features a .47-carat emerald-cut natural emerald set into a four-prong setting. The ring is also accented with four channel-set baguette-cut diamonds, 16 bead-set, round transitional brilliant-cut diamonds, and two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh 1.10 carats in total, with VS1-SI2 clarity and E-F color. The setting features a pierced design, bordered with milgrain edging and decorated with engraved wheat motifs.
Appraised Value: $7,200
The ring measures 9.8mm at the top, rises 5.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.4mm wide and 1.3mm thick at the base of the shank.
