Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This beautiful Art Deco platinum ring features a stunning 1.14-carat round mixed-cut sapphire in a square, four-prong setting. The shoulders are each accented with six bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .14 carats, with VVS2-VS1 clarity and F-G color. The setting features a pierced design with milgrain details. Initials and the date "7-13-31" are engraved on the inside of the shank.
Appraised Value: $7,800
The ring measures 7.5mm at the top, rises 4.8mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
