Art Deco Domed Diamond Ring
Circa 1920. This exquisite Art Deco ring features a 2.22-carat old European-cut diamond set into a platinum bezel setting. The diamond exhibits SI2 clarity and J color. The ring is also accented 42 bead-set, old European/brilliant-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .68 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and F-G color. The setting features a pierced design and is bordered with milgrain edging.
Appraised Value: $30,800
The ring measures 15.8mm at the top, rises 6.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.4mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
