Victorian Garnet & Diamond Halo Earrings

Circa 1890. These beautiful Victorian 18KT yellow gold and sterling silver earrings are each accented with one round mixed-cut natural garnet set into an eleven prong gold setting and haloed with 11 rose-cut diamonds semi-bezel/prong-set into sterling silver/gold settings. The earrings are each topped with one prong-set, rose-cut diamond. The garnets weigh 5.66 carats. The diamonds weigh 2.04 carats in total, with I1 clarity and H-I color. The earrings are finished with 18KT yellow gold lever-style backs.
