Victorian Amethyst & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1900. This stunning Victorian ring features an 18KT white gold top with a 9KT white gold lower gallery and shank. The ring features a lovely 5.12-carat round mixed-cut amethyst in a multi-prong setting. The amethyst is haloed with 24 bead-set antique single-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .48 carats with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-H color.
Appraised Value: $2,900
The ring measures 15.0mm at the top, rises 7.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the base of the shank.
