Art Nouveau Medallion Portrait Pendant
Circa 1900. This incredibly lovely silver portrait medal features the side profile of a beautiful woman whose flowing hair is adorned with flowers. Her neck is accented with a 6-stone garnet necklace. The medal was crafted by Russian artist Felix Rasumny, an engraver who emigrated to Paris and was trained at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs. In 1891, Razumny exhibited his works at the Salon of the Societe des Artistes Francais and in 1900 at the Exposition Universelle.
