Retro-Era Green Tourmaline & Diamond Ring
Circa 1940. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco ring features a 3.25-carat bezel-set, oval mixed-cut natural green tourmaline haloed with twenty 20 bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The shoulders are each accented with two bead-set, rose-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .44 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and H-I color.
Appraised Value: $5,300
The ring measures 17.9mm at the top, rises 6.3mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
