Victorian Naval Crown Ring
Circa 1890. This fantastic 18KT gold Victorian ring features a naval crown set against a background of deep blue enamel. The naval crown insignia features a circlet with the sails and sterns set in an alternating pattern across the top. This emblem originated in ancient Rome and was bestowed as a reward for sea service.
This ring measures 12mm at the widest point, tapering to 4mm at the bottom of the shank. It is currently a size 7. Please inquire for the sizing options.
We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
