Circa 1910. This stunning Edwardian platinum brooch/pendant features a central 1.10-carat bezel-set, old European-cut diamond. The brooch is also accented with 12 bezel-set, old European-cut diamonds, and 40 bead-set, rose/single/old European-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh 4.22 carats in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and F-H color. The brooch features a pierced design and is bordered with milgrain edging. It is finished with a 14KT yellow gold pin stem and catch. The piece was designed by Robert and Louis Koch, who established their jewelry design house in Frankfurt in 1879. Over the years, they became famous for making jewelry (including tiaras) for the royal courts of Germany, Russia, and Italy.

The brooch measures 31.5mm by 24.2mm. Within the brooch's case a screwdriver, bale, and chain have been provided by the jewelers to convert the piece to a pendant necklace.
