Art Deco Fancy Platinum Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This show-stopping Art Deco platinum ring features a central 1.47-carat old European-cut diamond with VS1 clarity and K color, set into a four-prong setting. The gallery features a pierced design with milgrain edging and is accented with two prong-set, marquise brilliant-cut diamonds and 18 bead-set, old European/single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .93 carats in total, with VS1-SI1 clarity and F-G color.
Appraised Value: $16,500
The ring measures 11.1mm at the top, rises 6.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
