Circa 1900. This fabulous sterling silver-topped 18KT gold Russian ring features a stunning 4.20-carat prong-set, oval mixed-cut natural amethyst. The amethyst is haloed with thirteen old European-cut diamonds flush-set into a sterling silver setting. The diamonds weigh 1.17 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-H color. The 18KT gold shank splits into a "V" at the shoulders. The under gallery features a pierced design.
