Midcentury Diamond & Platinum Engagement Ring
Circa 1950. This fabulous platinum engagement ring features a central 1.65-carat old European-cut diamond set into a four-prong head; the diamond has VS2 clarity and K color. Each shoulder is accented with two prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing .52 carats total with SI1-SI2 clarity and F-G color.

The ring measures 7.4mm at the top, rising to 5.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
