Georgian Turquoise & Seed Pearl Mourning Ring
Circa 1830. This fabulous 9KT Georgian-era memorial ring features 20 seed pearls and 18 turquoise cabochons. The center of the ring is filled with a treasured lock of hair protected with crystal. Georgians and Victorians honored the memory of their loved ones with keepsake jewelry that often included a place to keep a lock of hair that belonged to the deceased.
The ring rises 4mm; measures 22mm long; and tapers to 2mm. The shank measures 9mm thick.
Ring sizing is complimentary for most of our pieces and takes approximately two weeks. If the ring needs to be sized up 2 or more sizes, there will be an added charge depending on the piece.
