Victorian Floral Diamond Cluster Dangle Earrings
Circa 1900. These elegant Victorian drop earrings are crafted in 14KT gold, each earring suspended from a faceted gold link that leads to a delicate flower-shaped cluster set in sterling silver over 14KT gold. Together, the rose-cut diamonds total approximately 0.79 carats, their facets producing the gentle sparkle in candlelight that has captivated jewelry-lovers for centuries. The diamonds exhibit I1 clarity and C2-C3 (champagne) color.
The floral cluster motif was a beloved design during the late Victorian era, celebrating the period's fascination with nature and romantic symbolism. Sterling silver-topped gold settings were commonly used to enhance the brilliance of diamonds while preserving the warmth and durability of the gold beneath. Their lightweight construction and classic shepherd's hooks make these earrings as comfortable to wear today as they were more than a century ago.
The earrings measure 40mm in length and are finished with wire-style backs.
