Retro No-Heat Sapphire Ring
Circa 1940. This fabulous sterling silver-topped 10KT yellow gold Retro-Era ring features an 11.05-carat cushion mixed-cut natural (no heat) sapphire set into a six-prong setting and bordered with ten bead-set, round mixed-cut natural sapphires. The accent sapphires weigh 1.14 carats in total. The ring is approximately a size 8.
Appraised Value: $25,000
The ring measures 18.9mm at the top, rises 10.4mm above the finger, tapering to 2.7mm wide and 1.6mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 8.
