Circa 1935 - 1955. This classic Navajo squash blossom necklace is crafted in coin silver, traditionally sourced from U.S. Mercury dimes. Featuring hand-fabricated blossoms and beads, the necklace is centered by a sculptural naja accented with a bezel-set turquoise cabochon. The weight, construction, and patina are consistent with mid-20th-century Navajo silversmithing, when coin silver was commonly melted and hand-worked.
