Midcentury Diamond Openwork Eternity Band

Dating to circa 1950, this 14KT white gold Midcentury eternity band features an intricate pierced design accented with 32 bead-set round brilliant-cut natural diamonds totaling approximately 1.22 carats, with SI1-SI2 clarity and I-J color. 

Sweeping ribbons of polished white gold cross over diamond-set sections, creating an interlaced pattern that continues around the band. Unlike traditional eternity bands, which typically arrange diamonds in a continuous, uniform row, this design incorporates them into a sculptural composition. The diamonds follow the curves of the metalwork, allowing the pattern itself to become the defining feature of the ring.
