Victorian Diamond Drop Earrings
Circa 1850. Each of these Romantic Era (1837-1860) Victorian earrings features two prong-set, old mine-cut diamonds accented with seven rose-cut diamonds, flush-set in silver with an 18KT yellow gold shepherd's hook. Jewelry from the early part of this period was handmade, and 18KT gold was the common standard. The diamonds weigh 2.42 carats in total, with SI1-I1 clarity and L-M color.
