Late-Midcentury Turquoise Ring with Diamonds

Circa 1970. This epic Late-Midcentury ring features a stunning 6.30-carat freeform cabochon-cut natural turquoise bezel set in 14KT yellow gold. The middle of the turquoise is accented with one prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamond. The turquoise is bordered with a carved snake and accented between the head and tail with another prong-set, round brilliant-cut diamond. The diamonds weigh .64 carats in total, with VS2-I1 clarity and H color. Engraved details accent the shank.

The ring measures 29.8mm at the top, rises 6.0mm above the finger, tapering to 9.0mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
