Edwardian Peridot & Amethyst Ring
Circa 1910. This fabulous 18KT gold Edwardian ring features a lovely .64-carat oval mixed-cut natural amethyst and two round mixed-cut natural peridot weighing 1.32 carats in total. The setting is accented with five prong-set, rose-cut diamonds, and one prong-set, round single-cut diamond. The diamonds weigh .24 carats, with SI2-I1 clarity and H-I color. The undercarriage of the ring is engraved with scroll motifs. The ring is currently a size 5.25.
Appraised Value: $2,700
The ring measures 7.1mm at the top, rises 4.3mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
