Edwardian Diamond Snake Ring
Dated 1909; Chester, England. This Edwardian snake ring features coils of 18KT gold. The snake's head is accented with three bead-set old European-cut diamonds. Snake rings were extremely popular during the Victorian Era and were one of Queen Victoria's favorite motifs. The ring is approximately a size 9.
The ring measures 12.8mm wide at the top; rising to 4.2mm; tapering to 8.1mm wide and 1mm thick at the based of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 9.
