Midcentury Danish Amber Bracelet

$2,200.00
SKU A22661

Circa 1960s. This Danish sterling silver bracelet features a series of oval amber cabochons, each set within smooth, sculptural silver bezels. The amber displays rich, glowing tones of cognac, honey, and deep ember, with natural inclusions that lend each stone a sense of depth.

The links are thoughtfully constructed, allowing the bracelet to articulate fluidly around the wrist while maintaining a clean, modern silhouette. The silver settings provide a cool contrast to the warmth of the amber, emphasizing its luminous, almost molten appearance.

Stamped “Sterling Denmark Bent K,” the piece is attributed to Danish silversmith Bent Knudsen, whose work reflects the refined simplicity and organic sensibility of midcentury Scandinavian design. Bold yet wearable, it is a striking example of the era’s appreciation for natural materials and understated form.

Bent Knudsen was part of the post-war Danish modern movement, known for creating jewelry that balances clean lines with organic materials such as amber. Signed examples are especially sought after for their craftsmanship and design integrity.

The bracelet measures 7.25 inches in length.
