Art Deco Diamond Ring with Synthetic Sapphire Accents
Circa 1920. This fabulous Art Deco Era platinum ring features a 1.23-carat round old European-cut diamond with SI1 clarity and K color. Accenting the center stone are four old European/single-cut diamonds and six rectangular French-cut synthetic sapphires. The pierced design is engraved with wheat motifs and bordered with milgrain edging.
Appraised Value: $12,600
The ring measures 10.9mm at the top, rises 7.1mm above the finger, tapering to 1.6mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the base of the shank.
