Art Deco Diamond Filigree Solitaire
Circa 1920. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco engagement ring features a .50-carat round prong-set transitional brilliant-cut diamond with SI1 clarity and I color. Each shoulder is accented with two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .54 carats total with an SI1-SI2 clarity range and E-I color range. The platinum shank is accented with a pierced design with engraved wheat and floral motifs.
Appraised Value: $6,800.
The ring measures 6mm at the top, rises 6.1mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
