Welcome to Isadoras Antique Jewelry! We strive to offer you the most genuine experience while shopping with us, either in our store or on our website. We achieve this by providing our expertise, as well as our breathtaking selection of one-of-a-kind antique items, always keeping in mind that your happiness is the essence of our business.
In Seattle, Washington's historic Pike Place Market, Isadoras is owned and operated by Laura Dalesandro. She and her daughter, Elizabeth, travel the world seeking jewelry of age, beauty, craftsmanship, and originality. They handpick every piece of jewelry in the Isadoras' heirloom collection. And, while many purveyors of antique jewelry carry authentic and reproduced pieces, Isadoras has consistently maintained a steadfast loyalty to exclusively vintage or antique jewelry.
Laura has curated and sold beautiful antique jewelry pieces for over five decades. And, after more than 50 years in business, she believes more than ever in the investment-worthiness of antique jewelry.
Meet Our Founders
Laura Dalesandro has an over 50-year love affair with all things antique. Aside from being a devotee of the artistry of the past, she is very concerned about our dwindling natural resources. She believes antique jewelry is a prudent and wise investment and a conscious choice for the environment. Laura was born in Chicago. With her two children by her side, she opened in 1973 under the name The Way We Were, specializing in rare and collectible antique clothing. She moved to Seattle in 1979 and changed the store's name to Isadoras. In 1996, Laura and her daughter Elizabeth began working together, traveling the world, and curating unique jewelry pieces for their history, breathtaking craftsmanship, and absolute beauty.
Elizabeth Schoenleber, Laura's daughter, grew up with Isadoras, surrounded by beautiful antique clothing and jewelry. She has worked for Isadoras for the last 30 years, traveling the world on jewelry-buying trips, photographing pieces for Isadoras, and managing the store. As a mother-daughter team, Laura and Elizabeth have found deep joy and passion in sharing their love for antique jewelry. Isadoras has become much more than a business...it has become an exploration of the depth of appreciation for the artistry of the past.
As Rumi stated, "Let the beauty of what you love be what you do."
Meet Our Team

Molly represents the fourth generation of her family in the jewelry business. Before earning her graduate gemologist certification, Molly worked in theaters in Rome and New York. In 2019, Molly delved full-time into the wonderous world of antique jewelry at Lang Antiques in San Francisco. Starting as a sales associate, Molly soon transitioned to working with the repair and restoration team and later assumed the assistant buyer role. In 2024, Molly moved to Seattle and joined Isadoras as store manager, where she continues to pursue her interest in jewelry history. On her off days, you'll find her perusing local antique markets or reading a play, ideally while enjoying a plate of spaghetti amatriciana.

Jill graduated with a BA in English Literature and minors in both History and Art History. She is consistently amazed by the remarkable world of antique jewelry. She appreciates the romance, innate artistic beauty, and historical connection specific to every Isadora's piece. When she isn't working on the website or the blog, she spends too much of her spare time baking and spoiling her precocious beagle, Phoebe.

Deborah is a native Washingtonian, hailing from Spokane, with no plans ever to leave this beautiful state. With a background in floral design and cosmetics (she is a recipient of the Estee Lauder Cosmetics International "Best of the Best" Award), Deborah discovered her love of antique jewelry while working at Alana Antique and Estate Jewelry and joined Isadoras in 2022. She is a GIA-certified Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP). Deborah loves the history, romance, and beauty of antique jewelry, and especially enjoys sharing the joy of these pieces with her clients. "Working with the amazing women of Isadoras has been one of the highlights of my life," says Deborah. She keeps busy with volunteer work and traveling with her husband.

Josie, originally from Idaho, studied Business Administration at Lewis-Clark State College before moving to Seattle, where she managed social media for several businesses before transitioning into the jewelry world. A longtime lover of antiques, she previously sold vintage clothing and has always been drawn to the history and craftsmanship behind treasured pieces. Working at Isadoras was a natural fit, allowing her to combine her passion for storytelling with helping clients find meaningful jewelry for their collections or as symbols of their love. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, painting, and reading.

Abbey moved to Seattle in 2013 from Arizona and has been living and loving life here ever since. She has always been drawn to the artistic endeavors of times past that have continued to dazzle us as the world springs forward - old music, films, clothing, and, of course, jewelry. She discovered Isadoras after taking a leap of faith and transitioning into the industry she has long admired and dreamt of joining. Abbey is passionate about connecting pre-loved pieces with those who can infuse them with new life and meaning. At Isadoras, she has the pleasure of doing just that, while deepening her adoration for antique treasures. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time adventuring with friends, reading, and attending live jazz events in the city.
