Edwardian Floral Diamond Pendant
Circa 1910. This brilliant Edwardian pendant features a centerpiece accented with a cluster of eight old European/single-cut diamonds set in 10KT rose gold and arranged in a circular rosette motif. Radiating from this cluster are finely tapered platinum wires extending outward to a quatrefoil-shaped framework. At each terminal sits a stylized yellow gold floral element, each centered by a bezel-set old European-cut diamond. The platinum-topped edge of the scalloped border is bead-set with 40 rose-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh 1.2 carats with SI2-I1 clarity and G-J color. The bail is crafted in 18KT yellow gold and topped with one bezel-set, round brilliant-cut, lab-grown ruby. The pendant is suspended from a modern 14KT white gold cable-link neck chain measuring 20 inches.
Appraised Value: $10,400
The pendant measures 53mm by 40mm.
