Circa 1930 Art Deco Diamond Line Bracelet

$13,500.00
SKU CH3713

Dating to circa 1930, this Art Deco line bracelet features 46 old European-cut natural diamonds totaling approximately 4.14 carats, graded SI1-SI2 clarity and F-G color. Each diamond occupies its own precisely defined rectangular link, creating an uninterrupted sequence of light across the wrist.

Fine milgrain edging traces the borders of the diamond-set links, adding texture and definition without interrupting the bracelet's strong linear geometry. Each articulated link is hand-engraved with a scrolling foliate motif, decoration largely hidden when the bracelet is viewed from above. It is a wonderful example of craftsmanship intended not simply for display, but for the pleasure of the person wearing and handling the jewel.

Art Deco jewelry is celebrated for geometry, repetition, and precision, and the classic diamond line bracelet distills those ideas beautifully. Yet this bracelet also reminds us that Deco austerity was not absolute. Its crisp diamond-set surface coexists with delicate foliate engraving along the sides, combining modern geometry with an older decorative vocabulary.

Appraised Value:  $15,800

The bracelet measures 6.5mm wide, 3.0mm thick and 8 inches in length.
