Late Victorian Opal & Diamond Ring

$2,900.00
SKU A27417

Crafted in rich 18KT gold and hallmarked for 1903, this elegant antique ring showcases three luminous crystal opals arranged in a classic late-Victorian-to-Edwardian transitional design. The central oval opal is flanked by two smaller opals, each displaying a delicate play of color with flashes of green, blue, and soft rose hues. The opals weigh .36 carats in total.

Between the opals are four sparkling old European-cut diamonds. The stones are set within an openwork gallery that lends both visual lightness and intricate period character, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the early 20th century.

Opals held special significance during the Victorian era, symbolizing hope, creativity, and good fortune. Combined with diamonds, long associated with enduring love and strength, the pairing creates a ring that is both romantically symbolic and unmistakably collectible.

With its original antique gemstones, dated hallmark, and graceful turn-of-the-century design, this ring is a charming example of English jewelry from the dawn of the Edwardian period.
