Edwardian Diamond & Ruby English Ring
Dated 1915; Birmingham, England. This lovely ring is crafted in 18KT yellow gold and features a five-stone design set with three round, mixed-cut rubies weighing a total of .37 carats, alternating with two old European-cut diamonds weighing .14 carats, with SI1 clarity and G-H color. The gemstones are prong-set in an open gallery. The interior of the shank bears Birmingham assay marks along with a date letter corresponding to 1915, as well as the maker’s mark “W&FR.” The ring is approximately a size 5.75. The ring weighs 2.3 grams.

The ring measures 6.4mm wide at the top, rises 2.8mm above the finger, tapering to 2.1mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
