Victorian French Emerald & Diamond Ring
Circa 1900. This stunning 18KT yellow gold French ring features a .60-carat old mine-cut natural diamond set in an eight-prong platinum head, and a .47-carat round mixed-cut natural emerald set in an eight-prong yellow gold head. The mine-cut diamond exhibits VS2 clarity and O-P color. Accenting the larger stones are five rose-cut natural diamonds, bead-set into platinum. These accent diamonds exhibit I1 clarity and H-I color. The shank is stamped with gold and platinum French hallmarks.
Appraised Value: $6,200
The ring measures 19.0mm wide at the top, rises 4.4mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 0.7mm thick at the base of the shank.
