Midcentury French Opal & Diamond Ring
This magnificent 18KT white gold and platinum opal ring was made in the 1950s. The amazing 6.7-carat, oval cabochon opal is surrounded by a halo of old European-cut diamonds that date from the 1890s. The accent diamonds weigh .80 carats total with SI1-SI2 clarity and H color. The ring has a French hallmark.

The top of the ring measure 28.0mm by 21.2mm by 7.40mm. The shank measures 1.80mm wide and 1.1mm thick.
