1980s Heavy Curb Link Liberty Coin Necklace

Circa 1980. This fabulous vintage necklace features a United States 10-dollar Indian Head coin dated 1915. The face of the coin depicts Lady Liberty wearing a Native American feathered headdress with the word LIBERTY encircled by 13 stars. The reverse features a bald eagle standing upon a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. The coin is set within an ornate 14KT yellow gold diamond-and-sapphire mounting. The necklace is accented with 76 bead-set, round-brilliant-cut natural diamonds, six channel-set, baguette-cut natural sapphires, and four bezel-set, round mixed-cut natural sapphires. The diamonds weigh 2.51 carats, with VS1-VS2 clarity and G-H color. The sapphires weigh 1.21 carats. The pendant is attached to a 14KT tapered curb-style neck chain measuring 14 inches in length.
