Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1930. This gorgeous platinum Art Deco ring features a beautiful 4.75-carat oval sapphire cabochon in a bezel setting. The sapphire is surrounded by a double halo bead/bezel set with 18 Swiss-cut diamonds and 18 round old European-cut diamonds with milgrain details. The diamonds weigh 1.98 carats in total, with VS1-VS2 clarity and F-G color. The ring is approximately a size 8.
Appraised Value: $8,600
The ring measures 21.3mm at the top, rises 8.5mm above the finger, tapering to 2.8mm wide and 1.4mm thick at the base of the white gold shank.
