Circa 1970. This Late-Midcentury 18KT white gold ring features a stunning 1.72-carat oval, mixed-cut natural sapphire, set in a four-prong head. The center stone is bordered with 18 bead-set, round, brilliant-cut natural diamonds. And the shoulders of the ring are each accented with a row of six (12 total) bead-set round brilliant-cut natural diamonds. The diamonds weigh a total of .33 carats, with SI1-I1 clarity and G-H color, and are bordered with milgrain edging.
