Art Deco Rectangular Sapphire & Diamond Ring
Circa 1930. This fabulous platinum French ring features a central bezel-set, round mixed-cut natural blue sapphire weighing .95 carats. Accenting the sapphire to the north and south are two bezel-set old European-cut diamonds weighing .78 carats total with an SI1-SI2 clarity range and F-G color range. The larger gemstones are bordered with 11 old European-cut diamonds, five round single-cut diamonds, and four rose-cut diamonds. These accent diamonds weigh .60 carats total, with an SI1-SI2 clarity range and F-G color range.
Appraised Value: $10,800
The ring measures 18.9mm at the top, rising 6.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
