French Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Ring
Circa 1920. This fantastic Art Deco Era platinum ring features a stunning cushion mixed-cut natural blue sapphire, weighing 5.8 carats. The sapphire is encircled with 26 round single-cut diamonds weighing .52 carats, with a VS2-SI1 clarity range and F-G color range. The pierced setting is adorned with milgrain edging and is stamped with French import hallmarks.
Appraised Value: $22,250
The ring measures 17.7mm at the top, rises 8.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 1mm thick at the base of the shank.
