Victorian Diamond Coronet Brooch
Circa 1900. This charming Victorian sterling silver brooch takes the form of an elegant coronet, its openwork design enlivened by a collection of 44 rose-cut, old European-cut, and single-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.56 carats. The diamonds exhibit I1-I2 clarity and H-I color.
Crown motifs enjoyed enduring popularity during the late Victorian era, symbolizing devotion, achievement, and the romantic ideals associated with nobility and courtly tradition. More than a century after its creation, this graceful coronet remains a testament to the artistry and symbolism that continue to distinguish antique jewelry from modern design.
The coronet brooch measures 30.5mm by 13.7mm.
