Circa 1970. This 14KT modernist sun pendant features openwork rays and bead-set gem eyes—rubies on one side, blue sapphires on the reverse. Substantial, reversible, and delightfully uncommon, this piece was likely inspired by the Picasso-influenced aesthetic that permeated 1960s–70s modernist design. The sun hangs from a 32-inch chain and weighs 19.7 grams.
