Edwardian Ruby & Diamond Snake Ring
Dated 1907; Birmingham, England. This beautiful Edwardian-era ring features two entwined snakes crafted from 18KT gold. One snake is adorned with a ruby, the other a diamond. Snake rings were all the rage after Queen Victoria was given a snake engagement ring from Prince Albert, symbolizing eternal love. The ring is currently a size 7.25.
The ring measures 10.7mm wide; rises 4mm above the finger; tapers to 4.2mm wide and .9mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 7.25.
Ring sizing is complimentary for most of our pieces and takes approximately two weeks. If the ring needs to be sized up 2 or more sizes, there will be an added charge depending on the piece.
