Midcentury Star Sapphire Ring
Circa 1950. This exquisite Midcentury platinum ring features a stunning 60.35-carat star sapphire set into a six-prong claw-style setting. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with 16 bead-set, round single-cut diamonds and five channel-set, baguette-cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh .65 carats, with VS1-VS2 clarity and F-G color. The ring is approximately a size 8.

The ring measures 23.1mm at the top, rises 15.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is approximately a size 8.
