Midcentury 15.14-Carat Sapphire Ring
Circa 1950. This stunning midcentury platinum ring features a deep blue/purple color change, no-heat oval, mixed-cut sapphire weighing 15.14 carats and set into a four-prong head. The shoulders are each accented with seven channel-set, baguette-cut natural diamonds and three bead-set round, single-cut natural diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh 1.46 carats in total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and G-J color.

The ring measures 14mm wide at the top, rises 9.5mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1mm thick at the base of the shank.
