Art Deco Hexagonal Diamond Ring
Circa 1920. This fabulous platinum Art Deco ring features a stunning 1.50-carat old European-cut diamond bead set within a hexagonal-shaped head. The diamond shines with VS2 clarity, and I color. The shoulders feature a pierced design. Each shoulder is accented with one bead-set, old European-cut diamond, and two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds bordered with milgrain edging. The accent diamonds weigh .09 carats in total. The side faces of the ring feature an open panel design filled with filigree heart and arrow motifs.
Appraised Value: $22,150
The ring measures 9.5mm at the top, rises 5.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
