Art Deco Old European-Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

Circa 1920. This fabulous Art Deco platinum ring features an engraved, pierced design that highlights a 1.51-carat, prong-set old European-cut natural diamond, framed in a softly squared, milgrain-edged setting. The central diamond exhibits I1 clarity and I color. The shoulders are adorned with four round single-cut diamonds set within intricate, hand-engraved filigree and openwork motifs. The accent diamonds weigh .08 carats and have SI2-I1 clarity and H-I color. The ring is approximately a size 4.75.
