Art Deco Diamond Solitaire
Circa 1930. This gorgeous Art Deco solitaire engagement ring features a .76-carat old European-cut diamond prong set in a platinum setting, with SI1 clarity and E color. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with three bead set, round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .09 carats in total. The inside shank is engraved with initials and the date "16-2-36."
Appraised Value: $9,300
The ring measures 6.5mm at the top, rises 5.3mm above the finger, tapering to 1.7mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the base of the shank.
