Edwardian French Diamond Ring with Ruby Halo
Circa 1920. This gorgeous Edwardian ring features a 1.5-carat old European-cut diamond with VVS1 clarity and M color set into a platinum bezel setting. The center diamond is bordered with 16 channel-set, tapered baguette-cut laboratory grown rubies. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with one bead-set, rose-cut diamond. Currently the ring is a size 7, but it can easily be sized.
Appraised Value: $19,800
The ring measures 11.2mm at the top, rises 5.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.2mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
